Vanila is a home baked cakes and pastry brand based out of Erode, Tamil Nadu, India.

The name ‘Vanila’ is pronounced ‘Vaa-Nila’. It is a homophone and wordplay on the word ‘Vanilla’. Vanilla is an essential ingredient in baking and Vaa Nila in tamil means calling the Moon. Historically, bakers baked during the night when the moon was up, to have fresh bread in the morning. and so, the word Vanila also symbolises the freshness of their cakes and pastries baked overnight to give their customers a delectable indulging experience.

Vanila’s brand identity, including the naming, Logo, package design, promotional collaterals, logo animation and social media marketing creatives were designed and developed by me.
